He wanted to showcase the high quality of his offerings, from the in-house coffee blend and delicious food to the extensive selection of rare rums and spirits. The Insight
We recognized that Rum Club Copenhagen’s strength lies in its unique combination of offerings and Daniel’s passion for flavor. To effectively communicate this, we needed to create a video that was dynamic, informative, and visually appealing. We aimed to highlight the transformation of the space throughout the day, emphasizing the distinct experiences available at different times. The video needed to be concise and impactful, capturing attention quickly and leaving a lasting impression on viewers.
The Solution
Our solution was a multi-pronged approach that combined compelling visuals, a concise script, and upbeat music to create an engaging and informative video ad. Here’s how we brought it all together:
- Photography:
We started by capturing the essence of Rum Club Copenhagen through a series of 20 high-quality photographs. These images focused on candid shots of customers enjoying the atmosphere, Daniel crafting his signature cocktails and hot chocolates, and close-ups of the delicious food and drinks. The photography aimed to create a visual story that showcased the unique ambiance and offerings of Rum Club Copenhagen.
- Video Production:
Working closely with Daniel, we developed a 40-second video ad that effectively communicated the Rum Club Copenhagen experience. The video incorporated the following elements:
- Hook: The video opens with a captivating question: “Have you heard about the latest fusion concept in town?” This immediately grabs the viewer’s attention and sparks curiosity.
- Dynamic B-roll: We used fast-paced, exciting b-roll footage to showcase the café, bottle shop, and cocktail bar aspects of Rum Club Copenhagen. This visually reinforced the concept of a multifaceted experience.
